when the school says are appropriate for their age, does not mean that students repeat grade levels?
my children go to regular school with a accelerated program of IEP /. the school's Champions of the appropriate age. So when I moved there, my 5 year old who is ADHD / speech delay and was again held in his old school jumped at the level of kindergarten. and my son 7 years old, it's Add / number and difficulty of learning, he jumped at the primary level 1. They go to some of the regular classes, have IEPs, and pull-outs for therapy and tutorials. Well they are progressing, my 7 year old can now read 3-words of the letter. and my 5 year old and can speak in complete sentences. their behaviors have become a bit better, too. but I know that both are being academically delayed their age and grade levels. so my question is, my 7-year level of repetition of 1 next year and my 5 year old kindergarten remake? if they leave, then would not be appropriate for the age, right?
The only time I've heard about is age appropriate when it refers to an activity as a game or a movie. I'm not sure how this applies to homework. My son had delays in primary school academically. He fought in kindergarten through 3rd grade. In the 4th degree that made enormous progress, and lost most of their services, except that it still had 40 minutes of resource room (which you call tutorials) for reading. In K-3 grade he was receiving more than 2 hours of reading, writing and math for 40 minutes was an improvement. Also the study was ultimately much more your account. Because their children have an IEP, the school known to have learning problems. It is difficult to say whether they will celebrate again, because many of those who depend on compliance of IEP goals. My son was moving from one year to another, but always concerned if there was progress enough to be promoted. In the 4th grade understand much more academic and social and I knew it was going to be fine after that. Reached in math this year and remembered that much of what the teacher discussed in class as in Science and Social Studies. Test grades were typically an "A" or "B". And it all happened out of nowhere. Currently in grade 11 and tomorrow visit a nearby state university. No services now. He has a 3.1 GPA in all college preparatory classes. You really need to talk to his teacher because he / she would be able to answer this question better. I tend to think of them not as they see enough progress.
