How can I best study for Biology?
Whenever I get a test impossible for me to study for Biolody. First of all I like the theme is boring as hell and I find no interest in how an enzyme that reduces the rate of activation of something. A boy in my class said that reading the chapter twice and get a 98, while trying to read it twice and get a 63, this is the percentage by the way, I am obliged to do so signed by my father and cried because a studio. Every time I try to read my mind just goes away, because I get bored, no interest at all, just read, but not thinking about what I'm reading, I'm reading, but thinking of something else, what is a good study method for someone like me? I Get A + 's in my story because I think the test of interest in it and the words are so easy to get into my brain and stays there, while in Bio I can not find the words to remain just drifts off after 10 minutes. I am 14 and in 9th grade btw.
Take notes while you are reading. This will ensure that you pay attention, because you have to be careful to select important points and key words / definitions. I wrote my notes. I added pictures to my notes, because the more you do of a particular note, the most higher the memory will be. I always spent time memorizing my notes (and that's good to remember the short term – some people may be opposed to memorization, as can not really learn the material, but nobody asked me to cut open a pig and the name of all pigs organs). You do what you do. Whatever it takes for you to get your A! Maybe find a Youtube video for each concept or definition. Study how your professor tests so that you can learn to ask itself is likely to ask for a test. Enter the mind of teachers (the best students are the teachers … hahaha). In fact, for each page or section create their own questions and answers (separately) and give you a test. I used note cards a lot (may seem elementary, but it works)! In fact, learning to elemental things is a skill like that! LOL! I love my crayons and markers for note cards. Categorization of color … all those fun things. Anyway, The idea is to think like the teacher and the use of multiple forms of study. As you type, note cards, type, draw, can not move out because you mentally engaged in the process. There was a research study that said students who obtain / Doodle during the conference tend to retain more information. (You may want to your teacher know before scribbling.) BTW: Use lecture notes to guide you to relevant information! And always try to find a way to personalize the concepts! No more 63S. You can make a line, if you want! Happy Studying.
