What speed router should I buy (read details)?

I want to run computer from 1 to 256-bit WPA encryption on a 12 Mb / s connection Internet and maybe one more on top of that equipment. I want the maximum speed in this type of encryption, but not quite sure how to do the math. My current 54 Mb / s router does pretty well to 128 bits on a computer,

If we are talking about speeds when connected to the Internet for most of the information provided doesn't matter. As the other poster mentioned, all involved are theoretical speeds. Taking into account that in the bottleneck remains with its 12 Mb / S Internet connection. Its speed of traffic between computers on the network will be much faster than any PC with Internet access. There really isn't anything you can do to improve this speed.
