speed reading games for kids
Monopoly changed! Anyone else angry?

Recently I bought the board game Monopoly and changed it! Not only did some of the colors property and the color of money, but all prices are different now. And it seems children are not smart enough now to the original monopoly It got rid of 10% and tax is $ 200, now only $ 200. All prices are rounded to even numbers so it's easier to play. I swear to God, one of the community cards in the chest now says "It's your birthday! $ 10," what the hell is that! Theres even a "death rate" to play the game fast! Why would you want to play Monopoly fast, it's supposed to be a long game to have fun and spend time. Am I to react or someone else feel betrayed? I called the company and said the original version is discontinued. What do we do? I'm obsessed with a monopoly, it's just that I played so many times in my life that I can see all changes.

I had not heard of it, but I agree with you, I think it's terrible. It's like when changes are made a great movie like Star Wars or ET for children will not remember what it was before. I've been playing monopoly for 50 years! It is not money, This is a classic! It's like changing the styles of clothes on the Mona Lisa! I wonder if there is somewhere you can get Monopoly games, perhaps "editions special "to save for their grandchildren. 8 ^)
