Is my DVD burner 16x the problem of why my dvds playback is choppy?
I need a definitive answer on this because its becoming crazy. I know a lot about computers, and I did that this could be the reason … but, I just installed a new CD-RW / DVD combo is the read speed of DVD 16x and 52x recording speed (for CD's). My videos are all "chopped" and the sound quality isn't too big, its not too bad, is just the sound that irritates me. I have the Nvidia video codec, and the K-Lite Pro (which is only necessary to make my movies play in Windows Media player) and I have an MPEG-4 Video Decoder, but custom work is still good. I just need know if I need a faster disk or not, or if there is a need codecs or decoders. Any suggestions? (Please answer only if you know what you're talking about, thanks!)
More likely is that the team may not have enough memory RAM, and / or a graphics card quickly enough. When you bought your DVD drive, do not you look at the requirements? Whatever, especially memory RAM should be doubled if you can afford. This is really difficult to diagnose without having a computer in front of me. You could also try to update the controller that came with the disc from your manufacturer's website. Also, check your Device Manager for the unit and see if there are any problems or conflicts.
