Speed Reading successfully requires to train and use the eyes in new ways. All training covers some speed reading tool to draw the eye to move more efficiently. Did you know there are methods of eye training that could actually be harmful? Here are some of the mistakes to avoid.

1. Focusing on the development of the eye include exclusively. Speed Reading requires the reader to learn to use his eyes more efficient. Eye movement more fluid and "assist" more words for each setting (stop of the eye) is essential. However, there is a second aspect that is rarely approached with the depth required to master the skills. The missing component is understanding. Most books, training software, and the rate of other resource development reading really is not taught the process of understanding at a level that most people really can have success in achieving the desired results.

2. Using a type of tachistoscopic training the eyes. Tachistoscopes were machines that flash words on a screen. Gradually increase the number of words across an entire line to the point and an entire line below, several lines, and finally, a paragraph. This method was proven to be harmful and in the 1960s. However, the same approach followed in a variety of applications software, and books on the subject. Such training requires the eye muscles to relax to see beyond the normal visual field of the reader. Stretching muscles can damage the eyes.

3. Using a ruler or file is another common approach. There are a couple of problems with this. First, that wanders with a ruler in your pocket? Secondly, the ruler or index card can help track the eyes in a particular line of print, but blocks visual field below the poverty line. That interferes with feeding visual information to the brain. When this method is used the speed would not increase exponentially.

4. See "Groups" or "word groups" is another mistake. A set or group of words "is simply defined like to see more words for each fixation, or stop your eyes. This is a mistake because no one consciously thinks as his eyes stopped when read. Several different programs and I researched books that leave the student in a machining state of stop and go. This nervous twitch of the eyes makes for a smooth reading experience. Although the reader does not want to more for each stop on the eyes, can not be consciously planned. Instead of "word groups" the reader has to find meaningful groups of words. These groups may mean hanging over several lines and several centimeters.

These errors have one thing in common. They do not take into consideration the area of clear vision that we all experience naturally. The natural clear view area for most readers is between one and three inches in diameter. The view is three-dimensional. You want to use the natural three-dimensional view, when the formation of this aspect of the reading speed. But please, do not forget, there is something more than the formation of the eyes. Learning to understand at a rapid pace and then be able to remember information that is easy reading speed is masterful.
